BIO/ARTIST STATEMENT:
I’ve been showing my work in galleries and public spaces since 1996. I’ve traveled and lived in a variety of places. Each place I visited changed something about my work. In 2013, I published my first picture book and continue to work on picture books as well as a young adult novel that’s taking a great deal longer to finish than expected. My latest new project is the development of a symbolic language that I’m incorporating into abstract paintings and monotypes.
